So, we survived the
Westside and are in Canada now. When I think of Canada - its endless pine trees and mountains good for skiing. We stayed a few days in
Kelowna, a beautiful town situated on a HUGE lake; I think it goes for 150 miles.

We met up with all Sal’s family and her
grandmom which was great. We were lent a Honda to drive around in while we were there. Now were at Sal’s cousins (Mary-Sue) place in Vernon, and guess what? its only 15
mins to Sil
ver star! - Pity there is no snow.

We did go up there today and found patches of snow, the town is amazing, and every house is a minimum of 3 colours.

It looks weird without snow but I can just imagine what it’s like in winter,
I'm coming back! We saw two bears and lots of squirrels and hiked around for a bit.

Mary-Sue’s place reminds me of home, down a drive way, in the forest with a stream running out the back and the house is situated up on the hill looking down with no neighbours in sight. Perfect.
We're here till Saturday then heading to Vancouver till Tuesday and then off to London.
